The family of the late Johnny Cash will release a new album of the legend's music called Out Among the Stars on March 25th. reports the "man in black" recorded the album with Billy Sherrill in the early 1980s but it was never released. 

The material was discovered by Johnny and June Carter Cash's son, John Carter Cash, at Legacy Recordings last year. Legacy is a division of Columbia Records. Columbia dropped Johnny in 1986.

Of the 12 newly discovered recordings, Out Among The Stars will feature three duets -- two with June Carter Cash and one with Waylon Jennings.
