Hawks strike again in the Old Mill Road area of Fairfield, Connecticut. Officials are looking into removing the hawks in the area after residents reported being attacked by one. Police have warned residents via Facebook to be cautious while in the area and Animal Control will begin patrolling the area regularly. This isn’t the first time the hawks in the area have attacked people. There were several reports last year and the year before that. Officials captured one hawk that injured a number of residents in 2012. No one knows for sure why the hawks attack, but they usually attack people’s heads from behind and target those who are walking alone.
