I-81 Nighttime Road Work Planned near Marlowe
BURLINGTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that nighttime lane closures will occur on Interstate 81 near Marlowe this week.
The southbound left lane will be closed between the Maryland state line and West Virginia Exit 23 (Marlowe) between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday through Saturday nights, Jan. 7 - 12.
Road work is necessary to prepare for shifting of traffic to the new pavement and the exact schedule is weather dependent. Minor delays should be expected and the speed limit is reduced to 55 mph through the work zone.
