What You Should Know About Sunday’s Total Lunar Eclipse

The Wolf Blood Super Moon is coming!

It’s not a horror flick, it’s Sunday’s full moon total eclipse and a rare one at that.

Experts say the Super Wolf Blood moon happens when a full moon is closest to Earth during its orbit during a total lunar eclipse. It will appear seven to 14-percent bigger with a red or orange color. The next total lunar eclipse will not occur until May 2021.

Here’s when it will be visible to you…. all of North America will get to view the spectacle.

  • West Coast, 9:12 p.m. PT on Jan. 20.
  • Mountain Time, 10:12 p.m. MT on Jan. 20.
  • Central time zone, 10:41 p.m. CT on Jan. 20.
  • Eastern Time 12:12 a.m. on Jan. 21.
