Here’s a tip: if you’re going to try and fake an inspection sticker, make it look like the real thing.
Some genius in New York decided to make a vehicle inspection sticker out of construction paper and actually slap it on his car. It was drawn to resemble the real 2020 stickers, but obviously was lacking the “official flair.”
It’s no shock that a police officer actually pulled the car over only to find that the owner’s vehicle not only was uninspected, but unregistered. The owner was cited and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office was only too happy to share this on Facebook.
