Weather Radar Has Picked Up A Dragonfly Swarm In Ohio

It’s safe to say Ohio has been “buggy” this week.

A swarm of dragonflies is taking over the radar in northeast Ohio and it even took over the weather radar. The swarm of bugs looked like a storm over not only Ohio, but Indiana and Pennsylvania as well.

Migration of the insects is taking place currently, sending them south. Bugs have been picked up previously on radar, but this was dramatic and massive. Dragonflies don’t usually swarm and no one has a reason for the phenomena.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland shared a tweet of the radar.
