Josh Gad (the voice of Olaf in Frozen) is currently in talks with director Joe Johnston for a “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” reboot. While “Shrunk” hasn’t been greenlit yet, the story idea is one that Josh brought to Disney. He’d star as Nick, Wayne’s now-grown-up son who becomes a scientist and shrinks his kids just like his dad. It’s currently set for a theatrical release from Disney – not for Disney +, the streaming service.
