Two Chicago kids are receiving praise after fighting off a thief who tried to steal their dad's car.
The kids, and their 5-year-old sibling, were still inside the running car when their dad left them to go get Domino's on Sunday. A carjacker got in and took off with the kids inside. 16-year old Imama Muratab pretended to comply with the thief’s demands then started choking from the backseat, while her 10-year old brother hit him over the head with an iPad. She then called 911 with her dad’s cell phone.
The man stealing the car got scared and abandoned the kids in the vehicle. The children were not injured during the incident and police have the culprit and accomplices in custody.
