Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relaunched the website for their non-profit Archewell Foundation. The latest update? They’ve put out a call to action ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8th, saying “Women Deserve Recognition –and also Support.”
“We know the world is asking more and more of women every day — as wage earners, leaders, educators, carers, and more,” reads the website’s dedicated International Women’s Day page. “In recognition of International Women's Day, let's unleash a groundswell of real acts of compassion for the women in your life and in your community."
The couple is urging folks to do their part by donating their money or time, whether you’re helping out maternity wards, food kitchens, ordering from women-run restaurants, helping a family member sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine, or even just checking in on a loved one.
