Well, his men were merry. Sherwood Forest is a part of the story of Robin Hood, with the forest being used for his hideout, but now a group of locals has started a petition to get some merry naked men to stop running through the trees. Robert Robinson says the naked hikers are causing problems for many, including his wife; Robert says he’s seen a group of 12 naked men near the Major Oak tree himself.
Robert has started a petition to have the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds “stop promoting nudity” and discourage the naked hikers. The British Naturism group has replied to the petition, saying it “discriminates against a minority” and adds that “being naked is quite natural and quite normal.”
