When it comes to cruise ships, Mario Salcedo is king of the seas. Known as “Super Mario,” Salcedo has spent 20 years living “ship-to-ship” and says he’s the “happiest guy in the world.” After two decades working in finance, he decided it was “time to make a change,” so he decided to “travel the world without leaving his home.” The only time over the last 20 years that Salcedo wasn’t on a cruise ship was during a 15-month COVID break, and very much enjoys not “having to do laundry” or “take out the garbage.” If you can afford it, why the hell not?
