A newly built hope needed to have an unexpected and unwanted visitor removed before the first open house. While putting the finishing touches on a home in the Ft. Myers area, a worker found a 12-foot alligator holding court in the master bedroom. Houses in that area run for $1.5-million, but buyers are rarely in the market for unanticipated exotic pets coming with the deal. Trappers were sent to capture the beast, and the house had to be cleaned a bit, as the gator gave every room a try, leaving its “mark” along the way.
