(Brooklyn, NY) -- A marsupial-loving mama is getting high praise for ousting an opossum from a Brooklyn bar. When it wandered into Tempkin's Bar in Greenpoint last Thursday night, customers and barkeeps freaked out because while they're used to cockroaches and rodents in New York City, a possum sighting is rare. It was a good thing Alaska native Sarah Fulton was there. She kept her cool, grabbed the critter by the scruff of the neck and showed him the door. She returned to the bar to rounds of applause and free booze, but said what she did was no big deal after growing up with a moose family in her yard.
