The trailer has dropped for Abbi Jacobson’s A League of Their Own reboot series on Amazon Prime, and we now have a release date. The official logline says the series “takes a deeper look at race and sexuality” with a new ensemble of characters. Rosie O’Donnell, who played one of the Rockford Peaches in the original 1992 Penny Marshall movie, will guest star in the first season. All eight of the hour-long episodes of season one are scheduled to hit the streamer on August 12th.
