Here’s news for anyone who ever sent an embarrassing text to the wrong person. Or hit send before you could correct your spelling mistakes. The iOS 16 update is here, and it now has a function to let folks edit text messages, and even unsend them. There is a catch however. The update and editing feature is only available to users with an iPhone model released in 2017 or later. It’s also only useable if both the sender and recipient use iMessage and have updated their operating system.
