Time’s Up For Your Thanksgiving Leftovers

If you haven’t frozen any Thanksgiving leftovers, then you’ll have to wait to chow down until next year. Federal health officials say the Monday after Thanksgiving is the last day to safely eat refrigerated food following the holiday. So, if you have any left, it’s time to pitch it. The good news is, food that was in the freezer prior to yesterday can be safe to eat indefinitely, but quality declines over time. The USDA says frozen leftovers begin to lose moisture and flavor within two to four months.
