Just in time for holiday travel, gas prices keep falling. Triple-A says the national average price for regular is down a penny today, to $3.26 a gallon. That's six cents lower than this date a year ago. The cheapest gas in the country is in Texas, where the statewide average is $2.69 a gallon. Prices have dropped by 50 cents on average since last month.
