Things To Think About If You Want To Be Happy

We all want to be happy, but sometimes it’s a tough road. Toxic positivity makes us want it more, but you should be happy because you want to. So how do we get there?

“Huffington Post” got feedback from therapists and these are the point they say we need to focus on:

  • Work through your shame, guilt and worry. They’re big obstacles to happiness
  • Break the cycle of not taking action. Don’t let anything stop you from doing what you need to
  • Don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone’s path is unique
  • Ditch the “should have” thoughts. The past is the past
  • Build a strong connection with yourself. Ask the tough questions and then celebrate you
  • Get help for your deep seeded issues. Trauma can’t be handled alone
  • Don’t isolate yourself
  • Wake up with intention and purpose
