If you’re running from the police, making a pitstop for gas may not be a smart idea. A suspect in Memphis, who was under police surveillance, is now locked up for doing just that. Deandre Rodgers had outstanding warrants when he tried to flee police at a high rate of speed before stopping for gas. Rodgers was quickly surrounded by police at a Kroger gas station and took off on foot before being nabbed in a KFC parking lot on February 21st. Rodgers was booked into Shelby County Jail on several charges.
