Instagram is making moves to limit the amount of political content that pops up on the app, but it has an opt out. The social media platform announced last month that it would stop proactively recommending political content from accounts that users don't follow. The political content control has already been set to "limit" by Instagram. But, if you want to see the content, there’s a way to do that. You have to go into the app's settings and select the option to not "limit political content from people you don't follow."
