Belle Grove to host "Of Ale and History" Beer Fest Saturday, May 11, 2024

Virginia's Longest Running Beer Fest is now in its 29th year! Join in the fun with more than 30 craft beer and ciders on tap to taste from Backroom Brewery, Bear Chase Brewing Co., Caboose Brewing Co., Denizens Brewing Co., Jackie O's Pub & Brewery, Lost Rhino Brewing Co., Nepenthe Brewing Co., Old Bust Head Brew Co., Old 690 Brewing Co., One Family Brewing Co Wild Hare Hard Cider, Winchester Ciderworks, and Woodstock Brewhouse.

There will be live music from Raised on Analog 11:15-2:15 and Robbie Limon Band 3-5:30. During the band break 2-3 will be a live sheepherding demonstration to promote the US Border Collie Handler Association's National Sheepdog Finals (to be held at Belle Grove Sept. 30-October 6).

There will also be slot car racing and racing simulators from Rolling Miniature Speedway.

Food vendors include food trucks from Daily Buzz Cafe, Fork'd by the Apple House, 3 Fires Wood-Fired Pizza, and Boy Scout Troop 117-Mt. Jackson.

There will be a wide array of merchandise vendors at the festival too!

Tasting tickets are on sale for the advanced purchase price of $30 (includes eight tastings and souvenir tasting glass) or $15 for designated drivers or anyone under 21 (includes two non-alcoholic beverages). Children 6 and younger may attend with free admission. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Purchase tickets at www.bellegrove.org or in the Belle Grove Museum Shop (open 10-4 Monday-Saturday and 1-5 Sunday).

Tickets will be sold at the gate for $35 for tastings and $15 for designated drivers. Additional tastings may be purchased after 2 p.m. for $3 per tasting.
