Man Suffers Life-Long Injuries After Wedding Proposal Stunt

At some point, you’d think that people would learn that…if it’s true love…a simple marriage proposal should be more than enough. Adam Boots, a father from South Australia, reportedly wanted to start a bonfire and use it as the backdrop of his elaborate proposal plan. Unfortunately for him, he made the fateful decision to use gasoline to get the fire going. While “reaching in to get it going…it just exploded in his face.” Boots ended up being hospitalized for three weeks with “severe burns to his legs, arms, and face,” and now has permanent skin damage. Boots says the pain “has been excruciating,” and he’s now warning others not to do what he did, and “practice caution around open flames.” In case you were wondering, Boots finally did propose…but it was from his hospital bed, and she said yes.
