The owner of JVI Secret Gardens in Donelson, Tennessee is developing a fear of clowns, and for good reason. Security cameras caught someone in a clown mask kicking in the back fence of the business and entering the property. Derek Johnson’s business partner Erin saw the intruder and called Derek, telling him he needed to get to the business immediately. Derek pulled up the camera footage, and according to him “I said, ‘Nope, I’m not going up there.’” Johnson turned on the camera’s speaker to talk to the clown, who heard it activate and said “I’m leaving.” The thief was apparently trying to steal a propane tank and a saw blade from the garden center, which is getting additional cameras installed, and possibly some clown-proofing.
