Forget snakes on a plane. Escapee Hamsters grounded a flight for four days! It wasn’t even one or two, but 132! The TAP Air Portugal flight from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada Airport had human passengers as well as hamsters, ferrets and birds that were headed to a pet store. Then some of the hamsters decided to escape. It took for days to account for all the critters and then the Airbus took off again.
