As soon as "Barbie" wrapped up its epic run at the box office, director Greta Gerwig was being asked about a possible sequel. At the time, Gerwig said it would take an "undertow" to drag her towards a follow-up. Some are saying that undertow has arrived; reports are that Gerwig and husband/creative partner Noah Baumbach have come up with an idea for a sequel, and have already brought it to Warner Bros. Despite the reports via "The Hollywood Reporter," all parties are firmly denying any forward motion on a sequel. "There is no legitimacy to this reporting,” says Gerwig and Brumbach’s rep, while a Warner Bros. representative adds, “'THR's' reporting is inaccurate." When a movie makes $1.4-BILLION globally, "Ken" a sequel be far behind?
