ARE offers comprehensive case management and linkage to medical care, nutritional counseling, substance abuse and mental health care. In addition, ARE provides housing, emergency food, transportation, medication assistance, testing and prevention education. Without ARE, those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS living in the Lord Fairfax Health District # 7 would receive limited help with financial and supportive services directly related to their disease. ARE also provides housing services to the general population, who are facing the challenges of homelessness.
