Police are in uncharted territory after a nine-year-old boy shot and killed his sister.
Authorities in Monroe County, Mississippi say a 13-year-old girl is dead after being shot in the head by her nine-year-old brother. The sheriff says the boy grabbed a gun Saturday afternoon and opened fire after his sister wouldn't give up the controller to a video game. The teen died of her injuries last night.
The childrens’ mother was in another room getting lunch for other children when she heard the shot.
The shooting remains under investigation and there’s no word if the boy is in custody.
