A British man has become the first person ever to run the route taken by Forrest Gump in the 1994 Tom Hanks film.
39-year-old Rob Pope, from Liverpool, England, started his run from Mobile, Alabama, in September 2016 just like Forrest Gump did.
Since that day he ran 15,348 miles, travelling from west to east coast and back again. Completing the route Forrest Gump did in 409 days.
He averaged 40 miles a day...that is mores than a marathon and a half a day! So all in all with this route he ran about 100 marathons.
Now this isn't just for fun he is also raising money for charities like the World Wildelife Foundation and Peace Direct which you can donate to HERE.
Here is Rob and his Girlfriend two days before we spoke with him and their new daughter! As you can see he's even grown the "Forrest Gump Beard."
Rob started his run in Mobile, Alabama and just like the character he started in his plaid shirt, khakis, Chinos and Bubba Gump hat.
Here is another shot of Rob when he was Holbrook, Arizona and definitely looks A LOT different from when he started
Rob is an experienced runner because he was the Australian Marathon Champion at the Australian Marathon Championships in 2015 and also won the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in 2015 and 2016, where he ran a personal best of 2:27:13.
Rob ran with this stroller of essentials that he needed along the run as well as the camper he had for stops with him girlfriend who he said was a huge support system during this run.
