The night skies this weekend could be pretty amazing, as the LYRID METEOR SHOWER, one of the oldest annual meteor showers, peaks this weekend, giving fans all over the Northern Hemisphere a pretty intense show!
The meteor shower is expected to peak in the wee hours of Sunday morning, and viewers can expect to see roughly 10 to 20 meteors streak through the skies that night... assuming conditions are clear.
