Step aside, YouTube. There’s a new video streaming service in town – and guess what? We already know her.Instagram has added a new feature that will allow users to upload videos that are longer than 60-seconds. It’s called IGTV, and it will allow you to post your beauty tutorials, stunt videos, and how to clips properly on the platform.
The new feature will actually be its own standalone app that you can use specifically for uploading your video content. People are spending more and more time on their phones instead of in front of TVs or computer screens. That’s why Instagram wants to make video watching practical for phone users.
The best part?
You’ll be able to make uploads from your desktop, not just your phone. Every user gets a channel where you can post your videos. Pretty cool, right? Of course, Instagram will be monitoring the content to keep violent, nude, or hateful content off of their platform.
