Want to have a happier day? 

Try not to look at social media first thing in the morning – particularly anything negative. 

A lot of people reach for their phones before they even reach for a cup of coffee, but a study from the University of Pennsylvania, found that people who were exposed to just three minutes of negative news in the morning were 27 percent more likely to say they had an unhappy day than people who didn’t consume any negative news in the morning.
