Handley Regional Library System is excited to announce that a free magic show will place on October 20th at the Handley Library. Titled, The Festival of Magic¸ the program starts at 4PM in the Robinson Auditorium and features several magicians of all ages performing tricks and illusions – some with surprises acts rarely performed – for kids and adults. The Festival of Magic is presented by Phil Milstead and the Winchester Magic Club, Assembly 297 of The Society of American Magicians, the world's oldest magic organization. The following week, magician courses will be taught for students age 12-18, running October 22-25, at 4PM at the Handley Library. Card tricks, illusions, and other magical techniques will be taught by area magicians. While the magic classes are free and open to the public, registration is required at www.handleyregional.org.
