New HGTV Show Helps You Redecorate After A Breakup

Breakups are rarely ever easy, but when you split and then you have to deal with years of memories you and your ex created in the space you shared and now still live in, it’s so much worse. Those four walls and all the design and decor you decided on as a couple can be a lot to handle post-breakup and HGTV feels your pain. That’s why the network is coming out with a new show all about it called "Unspouse My House.

HGTV recently announced the new renovation series, which will be hosted by designer and self-proclaimed breakup artist - apparently that’s a real thing - Orlando Soria.

The idea is to help new singles get over their exes by giving their homes a physical refresh. The show won’t be on TV until late 2019, but right now, they’re looking for participants to be on it.

“You have to come and meet me with my mustache and be on my show," Soria recently posted on Instagram Stories. "You can get an amazing home makeover and potentially a best friend. The end."

If you want to be on the show, check out the application details on its website. But if you’d rather sit back and enjoy the transformations from the comfort of your couch like the rest of us, we’ll wait to see “Unspouse My House” later this year.
