Guess the two words that could “divorce-proof” your marriage

If you said, “Thank you” – good for you! Yep, a new study found that gratitude is vital to a healthy and successful marriage. Gratitude and feeling appreciated are powerful feelings – and sometimes when you’ve been in a relationship for a while, you start to take each other for granted. Those two little words can fix that. “Feeling appreciated and believing that your spouse values you directly influences how you feel about your marriage, how committed you are to it, and your belief that it will last,” said study co-author Ted Futris, an associate professor at the University of Georgia.
