KFC will be testing out plant-based fried chicken. They will test out a Beyond Meat version of their fried chicken in Atlanta.The customers then will be asked their opinion and KFC will then decide if they want to start selling the new food item.
So when it comes down to it, it's really all based on the customers opinion! That will decide whether the menu item will launch at more locations! According to Kevin Hochman, the president of KFC's US business, he was meeting with makers of plant-based "meat" because of the high interest in meat alternatives.
