Elk are not meant to be pet, so stop trying.
That’s the message from Colorado Parks and Wildlife after a video was posted to social media where a woman tried to attempt the feat. The bull elk wasn’t having it and she almost got hurt by its antlers.
The agency also reminded people they can cuff you for trying to pet a wild animal, since it’s illegal.
