This is a new take on what children should do if they’re in danger, and it makes sense. Author, motivational speaker, and mother-of-six Chauvon Landry shares parenting hacks and advice on TikTok, and recently said she taught her kids to react to someone trying to kidnap them or force them to do something they shouldn’t do by screaming every curse word they know.
Sounds strange but think about it. As Chauvon says, “if you hear a child scream, that’s not really alarming to you. But if you hear a child yelling out every single curse word,” you’re going to stop what you’re doing and look. Commenters mostly thought the idea was brilliant.
