The recall covers several months of the product being sold. The affected lot codes cover 1274425 through 2140425, which you can find next to the best-if-used-by date. You can view the full FDA announcement for a list of recalled products and their UPC codes.
If you have any Jif under recall, throw it out and contact your retailer.
Symptoms of salmonella infection include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
