Doctor Recommends Couples Should Always Sleep Alone In Separate Beds

A popular doctor on TikTok is telling couples that they should always sleep alone in separate beds. Dr. Karan Rajan, a surgeon and lecturer at the University of Sunderland, says sleeping in the same bed can interfere with getting a good night’s sleep.

He says a partner making noise and moving around next to you might keep you from falling into the deepest state of sleep, and just their body heat can make it take longer to fall asleep. Some people are shocked by the advice, but others are chiming in to say that sleeping apart worked for their relationship.
