(Bangkok) -- Two women were arrested at Bangkok's airport Monday after an x-ray inspection revealed more than 100 live animals in their luggage. Thai [[ tie ]] wildlife officials said 109 animals were discovered in two suitcases. They included two white porcupines, two armadillos, 35 turtles, 50 lizards, and 20 snakes. The women were heading for a flight back to their home in India when they were arrested and charged with smuggling.
