“Stranger Things” Viewers Crash Netflix Worldwide As Volume Two Premieres

We’ve got a good idea of how in demand “Stranger Things” is.

Netflix crashed all around the world as millions of viewers tried to stream “Stranger Things Four, Volume Two.” The highly-anticipated episode dropped at 3 am Eastern and Netflix went down around the world including Australia, India and the U.S. just a few minutes later.

Global uptime-monitoring website Downdetector.com saw a spike in users reporting problems with Netflix right around the release time of the new episodes.

Netflix hasn’t commented on the crash yet.
