Climate protesters glued themselves to the frame of a copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” at London’s Royal Academy of Arts on Tuesday, spray-painting “No New Oil” next to it. The five protesters were arrested, just like the two on Monday who covered Constable’s “The Hay Wain” with large sheets of paper showing “an apocalyptic vision of the future” before sticking their hands to the picture’s frame. The protest was organized by the campaign group “Just Stop Oil.”
