Two men have appeared before a court in Ireland after being charged with deception and fraud of a post office. They allegedly took the body of one of the men’s dead uncle to a post office to claim his pension payment. The charge is “dishonestly inducing by deception” of a post office employee…in other words, he lied and said his uncle was in the car. No foul play is suspected in the uncle’s death, but police have established that he didn’t die in the car at the post office. The men say they’ll fight the charges.
