How hot is it right now in Europe? It’s hot enough that Royal Welsh pigs are getting covered with SPF 50 sunscreen to protect them from the sun during the record heat. In Wales, where the Royal Welsh Show is taking place, they recorded the highest temperature on record in the region…96 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Royal Welsh Show is the biggest show of its kind in the UK; in previous years when the temperatures were high, display pigs have also been cooled down with wet blankets. The all-time record high temp in England was set in 2019 at 102 degrees Fahrenheit, and meteorologists say there’s a chance that record could be broken.
