Rob Zombie's take on sixties sitcom "The Munsters" will premiere on Netflix.

The rocker and film maker announced his movie adaptation will hit the streaming service in September. Previous reports had the film releasing in theaters and on NBC's Peacock streaming service.

In his announcement, Zombie noted the Netflix premiere means it will go head-to-head with Tim Burton's Addams Family spinoff, "Wednesday" on the platform. He proclaimed, "We are gonna spook-out like it's 1964!" and added "It's been 58 years since this clash of the titans first happened."

The biggest difference between the original show and the reboot? Zombie’s take will focus on Herman and Lily’s love story.
