Remnants of a centuries-old shipwreck believed to have inspired Steven Spielberg's 1985 movie, "The Goonies" have been discovered off the Oregon coast. Volunteers found more than 20 pieces of wood from the sunken Spanish galleon known as the Beeswax Wreck last month. Explorers and settlers in the region have written about the wreck and cargo pieces they had discovered in the centuries since the ship capsized in 1693. It's believed that Spielberg might have gotten inspiration from those stories to write and produce the movie about teenagers who go on an expedition to find a long-lost pirate's treasure hidden along the Oregon coast.
