(Hendersonville, NC) -- A North Carolina Chik-fil-A is receiving backlash after a social media post asked for volunteer workers. A now-deleted post on the Hendersonville Chik-fil-A's Facebook page asked for volunteers for it's new drive-thru express. The post offered volunteers five free entrees for each one hour shift worked. In comments made to Vice, a manager said people in the community want to be a part of what the restaurant is doing and "This is designed to be an opportunity for that." In response to a post criticizing the call for volunteers, the restaurant said it's had multiple people sign up and the volunteers are used to direct traffic.
