State and national records were broken at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York over the weekend, including the national record for the largest pumpkin. Scott Andrusz’s entry weighed in at 2,554 pounds, which broke the previous US record by 26 pounds.
While it also broke the New York state record, it didn’t come close to the world record; that belongs to a grower in Italy, who grew a 2,702-pound pumpkin last year.
