Loretta Lynn passed away October 4th at age 90 and according to a report in “The Tennessean” she was laid to rest Friday at her family's cemetery on her estate in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
She was buried following a private ceremony attended by about 100 guests, with a larger service already in the works, per Loretta’s own instructions.
According to a spokesperson for the Lynn family, details about the larger celebration of Loretta’s life will be coming soon. "A public memorial is being planned," rep Ebie McFarland shares. "The family did have a private ceremony Friday with no other details available to share at this time."
