New Menu Items From America’s Top Chains

There are tons of new menu items from some of the top chain restaurants in America that are being introduced this fall and the folks at Nation’s Restaurant Newshave compiled a list of several for you to be aware of. Here’s their rundown (CLICK HERE to see the complete list):


  • Pork Chop Griller – A seared, marinated spiced pork loin on a biscuit priced.

Huddle House

  • Apple Streusel Topped Sweet Cakes – Pancakes or waffles topped with warm cooked apples, cinnamon crunch streusel, powdered sugar, caramel sauce and sweet whipped topping.
  • Pecan Pie – A whole traditional pecan pie filled with pecan pie filling with a flaky crust topped with pecan halves

On The Border – Several new menu items to celebrate the chain’s 40th anniversary including:

  • Campfire Queso – Melted Chihuahua cheese with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, queso cheese, pickled jalapēno peppers, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo for $10.79.
  • Double-Stacked Club Quesadillas – Double-decker quesadilla with grilled spiced chicken, three cheeses, guacamole, bacon, poblano peppers, onion, tomatoes, red chile sauce, served with pickled jalapēno peppers, sour cream and a side of red chile sauce for $15.49.
  • Barbacoa Enchiladas – Beef barbacoa and cheddar cheese enchiladas topped with roasted red chile-tomatillo salsa and cheddar cheese served with Mexican rice and refried beans, $11.70 for two and $13.79 for three.
  • Honey-Chipotle Salmon – Mesquite-grilled salmon brushed with honey-chipotle sauce topped with pico de gallo and served with cilantro lime rice and sautéed vegetables at $19.99.
  • Steak & Bacon-wrapped Shrimp – A nine-ounce marinated and seasoned mesquite-grilled steak and a bacon-wrapped shrimp skewer topped with chimichurri butter, served with cheddar and jalapēno mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetable.
  • Birthday ‘Rita – A Large frozen house Margarita blended with birthday cake and served in a glass rimmed with confetti sprinkles, created in honor of On The Border’s 40th
  • Birthday Cake – A slice of tres leches cake covered with Mexican chocolate and confetti sprinkles
  • Dirty Rita – A Blue Agave Omeco Altos Plata Tequila, triple sec, agave syrup and a splash of olive juice shaken tableside and garnished with an olive skewer. 


  • Prime Rib XL Sub – A Half pound of roasted Prime rib on an 8-inch sub roll topped with sautéed onions, Swiss cheese and creamy horseradish sauce.
  • Prime Italian Sub – Roasted Prime rib, provolone cheese, sautéed onions, giardiniera, green peppers and marinara sauce on and 8-inch sub roll.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

  • OREO Peppermint Crunch Milkshake – vanilla soft serve blended with milk, peppermint bits, Oreo cookie crumbs topped with whipped cream, Oreo cookies and peppermint.
  • Red’s Classic Mule – Fever-Tree Ginger Beer, sweet and sour mix and choice of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Espolòn Tequila or Jim Beam Bourbon starting around $6.49. T

Sonic Drive-In

  • Steak Butter Bacon Cheeseburger – beef patty topped with butter with steakhouse seasonings, two slices of American cheese, bacon, grilled onions and mayonnaise on a toasted bun. 

Tim Horton’s

  • Red Velvet Cream Cold Brew– Iced cold brew coffee with red velvet syrup and cream topped with red velvet cold foam.
